Job description

This position assists the licensed nursing staff in performing services within the scope of their practice. This position will assist with the daily care of patients and perform other functions such as bladder scans, time voiding, blood glucose bedside test testing, participation in the bowel program and other functions once competency has been validated. This position will be working in our Rehabilitation and Medical/Surgical units.
Requirements:
  • Must possess a current and valid California Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate or be currently enrolled in an accredited Registered Nurse program and have completed at least one year of the program.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • One-year experience required and rehabilitation experience preferred.
  • Demonstrate initial ongoing competence in performing tasks for care.

The pay range for the posiiton is $24.00-27.00
