Job description

SHORT DESCRIPTION (2): The Quality Engineer person provides Quality support.

QUALIFICATIONS (2): Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred with certifications or training in Quality control techniques.

1. Responsible to monitor the performance of quality processes and controls in their respective areas

2. Hands on inspection and test applicable Scanfil’s PCBA, Systems Integration, Configuration Logistics Center or any other Scanfil Product as assigned.

3. Ensure Non-Conforming material process is followed and satisfying the requirements of the business.

4. Ensure tools are in place for the proper capture of KPI’s.

5. Interface with customer and/or vendor on quality related issues

6. Gather data to support quality claims.

7. Close quality related projects

8. Audit quality processes in their respective areas (including assembly)

9. ISO:9001, ISO:14001, ISO:13485 and ISO:45001 Knowledge

10. Work closely with Supervisors to ensure employees are being trained properly to perform their duties.

11. Assure production lines receive quality alerts and ECN changes.

12. Issuing RMAs to customers and maintain RMA database for tracking.

13. Calibration of all parts required.

14. Inline and Final inspections for production manufacturing lines

15. 1st article inspection

16. Quality involvement in NPI and KPIs

17. Root cause & corrective/preventive actions

18. Weekly quality report for quality meeting

19. Write up NCMs on the production lines.

20. SCARS for vendors

21. Other duties as assigned
