SERVICE CENTER CLERK RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • GREETING CUSTOMERS WITH A FRIENDLY SMILE AND PROVIDE SERVICE IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE.
  • OPERATE THE CASH REGISTER
  • HANDLE ALL ASPECTS OF A GAS SALE TRANSACTION
  • OPERATE ALL SERVICE CENTER EQUIPMENT (LOTTO, MONEY ORDER, FAX, TELECHECK, LAMINATOR, ETC.).
  • INTERACTION WITH CUSTOMERS. COUNT CHANGE BACK TO THE CUSTOMERS AND TRY TO USE THEIR NAME. ASK THEM IF THEY FOUND EVERYTHING THEY WERE LOOKING FOR AND THANK THEM FOR SHOPPING AT OUR STORE.
  • COUNT CASH DRAWER BEFORE STARTING YOUR SHIFT AND AT THE END OF YOUR SHIFT AND BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BALANCING YOUR DRAWER.
  • OPERATE BOTTLE RETURN SCANNER.
  • RECEIVE AND TRANSFER INCOMING PHONE CALLS.
  • PROCESS RETURNS AND DAMAGES.
  • STOCK SUPPLIES FOR SERVICE CENTER AREA AND WORK BACK STOCK DAILY.
  • CLEAN AND MAINTAIN SERVICE CENTER AREA - COMPLETE CLEANING LIST DUTIES.
  • COLLECT NSF CHECK PAYMENTS.
  • APPROVE OR DENY PERSONAL OR PAYROLL CHECKS ACCORDING TO OUR CHECK CASHING POLICY.
  • COUNT AND BALANCE LOTTO TICKETS. STOCK LOTTO TICKETS ONLY WHEN COMPLETELY OUT.
  • PROCESS CHECK CASHING APPLICATIONS AND USE TELECHECK WHEN NEEDED (FIRST TIME USERS AND ANY SUSPICIOUS CHECKS).
  • CLEAN INSIDE AND OUTSIDE OF THE BOTTLE MACHINES. MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OLD TO CLEAN THE INSIDE OF THE BOTTLE MACHINES.
  • ASSIST CUSTOMERS WITH BOTTLE MACHINES AND HELP BAG IF IT IS SLOW.
  • READ AND FOLLOW OUR ANTI-MONEY LAUNDERING POLICY AND PROCEDURES.
  • PROMOTE TEAMWORK.
  • FOLLOW ALL GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS (EX. BEER AND ALCOHOL PURCHASES).
