Job Opportunity: Scale Operator
Are you a meticulous and dependable team player with a passion for customer service? We invite you to join our KAAPA team as an Scale Operator at our Minden location.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Assist in grain receiving functions
  • Assist with logistics for all inbound grain
  • Monitor grain bin management software to ensure all grain is properly stored
  • Weigh trucks accurately and in a timely fashion
  • Weigh in and out chemical, denaturant, corn oil, and ethanol trucks
  • Make KAAPA guests feel welcome
  • Accurately grade all incoming and outgoing samples
Working Hours:
  • Monday- Friday 8am- 5pm with additional hours required during harvest and as required throughout the year
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong math skills
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
  • Possess organizational skills
  • Ability to be at work on time
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to others and work well as a team\
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
