About the Role

We are seeking a Warehose Forklift Operator to join our team at our Ontario, CA bakery. As a Warehouse Forklift Operator, you will be accountable for safely moving, storing, receiving, and shipping materials and finished goods throughout the facility. This role is vital to maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production operations, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and upholding food safety and quality standards.

Compensation

  • Hourly Pay Range: $24- $25


Core Accountabilities (What You'll be Doing)

  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely to support warehouse and production operations.
  • Prepare, pick, stage, and load customer orders to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
  • Receive and store incoming materials and finished goods in designated warehouse locations.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by processing transactions, documenting movements, and supporting SAP inventory activities.
  • Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns to ensure safe and reliable operations.
  • Follow GMP, food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in all warehouse activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while supporting company operational standards.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-2 years of warehouse inventory, stockroom, or material handling experience.
  • Valid forklift certification and experience operating forklifts in an industrial environment.
  • Experience using SAP or similar warehouse/inventory management software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to accurately complete shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing, bakery, or distribution environment.
  • Experience working in frozen warehouse environments.
  • Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management processes.
  • Experience loading and unloading trailers and staging shipments.
  • Familiarity with GMPs, food safety, and quality assurance programs.
