Description:

AdvancedPCB is seeking a reliable, motivated CAM Operator who is looking for an exciting and rewarding opportunity. The ideal candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and show a true sense of urgency. Translate and transform customer-supplied design data into panelized tools required by manufacturing.


Essential Job Function:

CAM Operator I

  • Provide and support miscellaneous tooling tasks. (CAM Q\C, Rout programming, outsourcing tooling to India etc.)

CAM Operator II

  • Tasks listed under CAM Operator I
  • Provide tooling for standard PCB designs.
  • Receive customer data and analyze against DFM (design for manufacturability) criteria and provide feedback.
  • Repair violations and edit the single image as required (vendor logos, etc.)
  • Panelize data and output to photo plotters, NC download systems, continuity test, AOI cam, etc.
  • Develop NC programming for drillers/routers including scoring/milling/beveling equipment.
  • Communicate with customers and outside services.

CAM Operator III

  • All initial CAM I and II tasks referenced above.
  • Provide tooling for high level technology PCB designs.
  • Support script testing and employee training.

Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.

Requirements:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a team player.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Minimum of 3-5 yearsโ€™ experience as a CAM Operator.
  • CAM Software experience required; Frontline Genesis experience preferred
  • Strong PCB manufacturing knowledge.
  • Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

CAM Operator I

  • Minimum 1 year PCB Manufacturing experience.
  • Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.


CAM Operator II

  • Minimum 2 yearsโ€™ experience as a CAM Operator.
  • 2 years' CAM Software experience required; Frontline Genesis experience preferred
  • Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.


CAM Operator III

  • Minimum 3-5 yearsโ€™ experience as a CAM Operator.
  • Minimum 3 years' CAM Software experience required; Frontline Genesis experience preferred
  • Minimum 3 years' PCB manufacturing knowledge.
  • o Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, climb stairs, and reach with both hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and to perform repetitive motions. The employee is frequently required to sit.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. These vision requirements are necessary to complete the keyboarding, filing, and copying functions of the job

Compensation/Benefits:

California Pay Range: $22.00 - $40.00 per hour USD | DOE


The actual compensation offered is based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
