Job description

Description

Trax USA Corp is seeking a Scrum Master to join our software development organization. In this role you will facilitate Agile delivery across one or more development teams, coordinate day-to-day activities, surface and report meaningful delivery metrics to management, and proactively follow up on risks, blockers, and dependencies across the project teams. You will be the connective tissue between engineering, product, and stakeholders - keeping work flowing, transparent, and aligned to commitments.

Key Responsibilities

Agile facilitation & delivery

  • Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies - sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives - keeping them focused, time-boxed, and outcome-driven.
  • Guide one or more development teams in applying Agile/Scrum principles and continuously improving their ways of working.
  • Help the team forecast and commit realistically, and protect them from scope creep and disruption during the sprint.

Backlog, planning & coordination

  • Maintain a healthy, well-groomed development backlog in Jira, partnering with product owners and engineering leads on refinement and prioritization.
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies and ensure work is sequenced to minimize blocking and rework.
  • Keep project and release plans current in Smartsheet, ensuring alignment between sprint-level execution and broader project timelines.

Metrics & reporting

  • Produce and present clear delivery metrics for management - e.g. velocity, sprint burndown/burnup, throughput, cycle time, predictability, and defect trends.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Jira and Smartsheet that give leadership real-time visibility into progress, capacity, and risk.
  • Translate raw delivery data into actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Risk, blockers & follow-up

  • Actively identify, track, and drive resolution of impediments, risks, and blockers across the project teams.
  • Follow up persistently on open items, dependencies, and commitments until they are closed, escalating to management when needed.
  • Foster transparency and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recognized Agile certification (e.g. CSM, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent).
  • Experience in enterprise or B2B software delivery, ideally in a regulated or technically complex domain.
  • Exposure to the aviation, MRO, or airline industry, or a willingness to learn the domain quickly.
  • Experience coordinating across multiple workstreams or scaled-Agile environments.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices and modern cloud-based engineering workflows.

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to shape Agile delivery on a modern platform serving the global aviation industry.
  • A collaborative engineering culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • Direct visibility and impact with management through the metrics and insights you provide.
