Position Title: Scrum Master

Various position levels for each position:

Junior-level – 2-3 years of experience

Mid-level – 4-8 years of experiencea

Senior-level – 10+ years of experience

Location: Huntsville, AL (Hybrid/On-Site preferred, possibly remote)
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required

CODEplus is seeking a Scrum Master to support Agile software development and modernization efforts supporting mission-critical Army tactical systems.

The selected candidate will facilitate Agile execution across cross-functional software engineering and DevSecOps teams, helping drive collaboration, delivery efficiency, continuous improvement, and alignment with mission priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and sprint reviews
  • Support Agile delivery execution across software engineering, DevSecOps, cybersecurity, and systems engineering teams
  • Track team progress, sprint metrics, dependencies, impediments, and delivery risks
  • Work closely with Product Owners, technical leads, and stakeholders to align priorities and manage backlog execution
  • Promote Agile best practices, continuous improvement, and team collaboration
  • Support coordination across multiple integrated teams and external stakeholders
  • Assist with Agile reporting, roadmap visibility, and release planning activities
  • Help maintain alignment with SAFe® principles and DevSecOps delivery objectives

Desired Skills

  • Experience supporting Agile software development programs in DoD or mission-critical environments
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines, CI/CD concepts, and software modernization efforts
  • Experience using Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar platforms
  • Strong facilitation, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
