MEMCO is hiring a Commercial Scaffolding Foreman in Savannah, GA!!

ASAP! Monday-Friday; 6am-4pm; OT Available

Pay: $26-29/hr; BOE

Job Overview:

As a Scaffold Foreman, you'll be a key player in building and maintaining safe work environments for commercial construction crews. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safety, stability, and integrity of scaffolds used on construction sites, providing a secure platform for workers to perform their tasks efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

  • Building and dismantling scaffolds: Construct sturdy scaffolds following blueprints and safety guidelines.
  • Ensuring safety: Maintain the highest safety standards, conducting regular inspections.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other workers for efficient project completion.
  • Equipment maintenance: Keep tools and equipment in top shape, performing regular maintenance.
  • Problem-solving: Think critically to solve unexpected challenges while prioritizing safety.
  • Record-keeping: Maintain accurate records of work, inspections, and maintenance.

What you need:

  • Reliable transportation
  • Own safety harness
  • Scaffold building experience
  • Knowledge of safety standards
  • Blueprint reading skills
  • Attention to detail and safety commitment
  • Physical fitness and ability to work at heights
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Relevant certifications (preferred). OSHA 10-30 is a plus.
