ARCO/Murray is seeking a highly motivated & skilled Water Treatment Project Manager to join our Water Solutions team, based in Dallas, TX. The Water Treatment PM will be responsible for the project execution and overall performance of water projects.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
  • Lead and manage all phases of water/wastewater plant construction projects, from planning to closeout.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful delivery.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Negotiate contracts, change orders, and manage risk throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide mentorship, leadership, and guidance to project teams.
  • Drive stakeholder communication, reporting, and client satisfaction
  • Establishing project objectives, procedures and performance standards, and leading multi-disciplinary teams on proposals, planning studies, feasibility through final designs, and construction services.
  • Accountable for ensuring project budgets are set and managed appropriately, and that projects are delivered on budget.
  • Manage external contractors and/or partners as part of project teams.
  • Work effectively across multiple complex, strategic projects simultaneously.
  • Expertise in key areas such as water resource management, hydraulic engineering, lift stations, ground storage tanks and wells, water treatment, and distribution and collection system optimization.
  • Be a subject matter expert in industry best practices.
  • Involvement in projects focused on urban water systems, sustainability, or environmental impact mitigation.
  • Understand and apply conventional and advanced treatment technologies to solve complex water quality challenges for clients.
  • Lead and coordinate private sector water and/or wastewater projects with sizes ranging from large-scale infrastructure to small-scale studies.
  • Provide technical support during project commissioning and/or troubleshooting.
  • Travel up to 40 percent, as needed.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3-5 years of experience managing water and/or wastewater plant construction projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process systems, civil/structural works, and mechanical/electrical installations.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) or Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred.
  • This role requires hands-on experience in designing and constructing water and wastewater treatment and conveyance systems, as well as construction project management responsibilities.
    • This includes managing budgets, schedules, and technical quality, while providing leadership to project teams and serving as a primary point of contact for clients
  • Design|Build construction experience is preferred
  • LEED experience is preferred
  • Experience with SCADA systems is preferred
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Procure, Revit, Salesforce and Microsoft Project is preferred.
