Job description

Field Service Rep - Defense (Field Service)

Boeing Global Services Government Services is seeking a Field Service Representative to support F-15SA at King Saud Airbase (Hafr Al Batin) Saudi Arabia. The primary U.S. location is Hazelwood, MO.

This is a Long-Term Assignment to The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and/or international) to meet the needs of our customers.

Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and/or management requirements.

Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Function as a liaison between Boeing and the Customer develop excellent relationships with all levels of customer to ensure satisfaction with products and services
  • Monitors product performance and makes recommendations for issue resolution
  • Analyzes technical data, evaluates maintenance procedures, develop and conduct training
  • Support maintenance personnel with troubleshooting of various aircraft systems and components
  • Resolve maintenance and operational issues
  • Must be able to read schematics, drawings and knowledge of fighter aircraft support and test equipment
  • Provide field service representation and technical support to the customer and initiate corrective actions to ensure customer satisfaction with company products and services
  • Utilize multi-discipline, technical expertise, and company knowledge to assist the customer to achieve and sustain a high level of proficiency in the operational and maintenance fields
  • Understand customer expectations and assist the customer in interpreting and using support data and documents
  • Work unsupervised for extended periods of time in a variety of environments
  • Ability to coach others on maintenance of the F-15 Aircraft
  • This position if primarily first shift but must be willing to work outside of normal working hours to support the RSAF

Basic Qualifications: (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years avionics system knowledge and experience
  • 5+ years F-15 maintenance experience
  • 5+ years' experience maintaining military aircraft
  • Proficient in reading schematics and drawings
  • Have knowledge of fighter aircraft support and test equipment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel

Ex-Pat Information:

  • Candidates must have or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport and Saudi Arabia Visa
  • Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable
  • Employment is contingent on the candidate's ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country
  • Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned. These contingencies also apply to any/all family members who may be relocating with the candidate.

Relocation benefits will be provided only to the international assignment.
