Job description

Candlewood Suites St. Charles is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to support our housekeeping department on weekends. (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)


This role is essential in ensuring clean linens and towels are consistently available to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Compensation:

$16.75 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens, towels, and laundry items
  • Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist housekeeping staff with removing dirty linens from vacant guest rooms
  • Inspect linens for stains, damage, or wear, and remove items from circulation when necessary
  • Maintain proper inventory of clean linens and communicate supply needs to housekeeping leadership
  • Keep laundry area clean, organized, and compliant with safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist the housekeeping team with delivering clean linens and supplies as needed
  • Report any equipment issues or maintenance needs promptly
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures at all times

Qualifications:
  • Must be available to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday consistently
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Prior hotel or laundry experience preferred but not required
  • Bilingual a plus
