Position Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates effective skills in recruiting, interviewing and selecting new employees.
  • Continuously reviews and improves delivery of services through an on-going Quality Improvement plan, and monitor the Bed Tracking System.
  • Attends all training programs and committee meetings scheduled.
  • Plans, developments and implements a fiscal and operational plan for the department and submits to immediate supervisor with supportive documents for approval by due date
  • Reports quarterly the status of goals and objectives.
  • Reviews monthly responsibilities summaries and submits financial analysis within five working days to immediate supervisor identifying reasons for negative variances with recommendations for resolution.
  • Maintains OT within approved limits.

  • Demonstrates ability to lead group teams as evident by atmosphere of teamwork, efforts to obtain input of others involved in planned activity and lack of internal conflict.
  • Oversees the security of the inventory and equipment pertaining to Environmental Services.
  • Administers departmental policies for education, safety, infection control, quality improvement and emergency preparedness to meet hospital established guidelines and JACHO standards.
  • Monitors and Supervises all Team Leaders & supervisors.
