SAS Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) Team is a service organization responsible for providing IT support for our full spectrum of SAS Solutions to Infrastructure & Platform Services. Additionally, the Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) team works with other SAS IT teams to improve our service catalog offerings to our customers including helping to implement next generation technologies. As an Engineer in the SAS Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) team, you will use your communication and technical skills to support internal and external customers in our hosted & internal environment. You will help design, implement, and support a large heterogeneous computing environment. You will be responsible for helping to maintain Service Level Agreements and Operational Level Agreements, and improve the performance, reliability, and standardization of our hosted & internal solutions.
As an Information Systems Engineer, you will:
  • Review vulnerability data from multiple sources to determine the risk rating of vulnerabilities to business assets.
  • Improve and automate the existing vulnerability management lifecycle, including data ingestion & normalization, compliance metrics, and detections on assets.
  • Provide technical support for vulnerability management projects.
  • Perform recurring and on-demand scanning activities of both corporate and cloud environments utilizing an enterprise platform.
  • Ensure that scan results are presented in appropriate dashboards, reports, and forwarded to other data systems as necessary.
  • Nice to have an understanding of or experience with the Tanium product line.

Required qualifications
  • US Citizen required.
  • 5+ years of related experience in Vulnerability management and compliance monitoring.
  • Demonstrated experience in Vulnerability management and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of Tenable IO and Security Center product line.
  • Participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation schedule
  • Red Hat Linux and Satellite
  • Microsoft Azure deployment of linux based systems
  • VMWare
  • Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above

Preferred qualifications
  • AWS background is helpful but not required
  • K8S and Docker experience helpful but not required
  • Collaborative team experience with superior problem-solving skills
  • Ability to triage requests with multiple admin resource groups
  • Understanding best practices around information security and data privacy in relation to system access and availability
  • Experience with DevOps tools will be an added advantage
