Job Summary
We are seeking a SAS Developer with strong experience in banking and financial services to design, develop, and maintain data-driven applications and analytical solutions. This role involves working with SAS tools and statistical methods to process, transform, and analyze large datasets. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in SAS programming, data integration, and analytical problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain SAS-based applications and data processing solutions
  • Develop and optimize SAS programs using Base SAS, SAS Macros, PROC SQL, and SAS/STAT
  • Build and manage data integration workflows using SAS Data Integration Studio
  • Perform data extraction, transformation, merging, and cleansing activities
  • Conduct data quality checks and ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Manage job scheduling and execution using Platform Load Sharing Facility (LSF)
  • Troubleshoot job failures and resolve data processing issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions
  • Work within Agile environments and manage tasks using tools such as JIRA
  • Maintain documentation and adhere to development best practices

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in application design and development using SAS
  • Strong expertise in Base SAS, SAS Macros, PROC SQL, SAS/STAT, and related tools
  • Experience with quantitative analysis, mathematics, and statistical functions
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix shell scripting
