Job description

The Job The Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector's (ATC) office is recruiting for SAP Reporting Analyst II* to perform complex professional and technical duties for the County-wide enterprise SAP system. Positions are allocated to the Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector's office and are responsible for managing data retrieval and analysis for San Bernardino County. Essential duties include designing and building queries, reports, and dashboards using business intelligence tools, actively participate in and influence discussions around reporting requirements, infrastructure needs, and design.

Minimum Requirements CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: EXPERIENCE Must possess three (3) years of experience with SAP BW/BOBJ that includes two (2) years of experience extracting, modeling and understanding data from SAP ECC, CRM, SRM, and PLM.

Experience must include analyzing business needs, documenting business process requirements, troubleshooting, defining solutions, and providing end-user support. EDUCATION Must possess thirty (30) semester (45 quarter) college units in information technology, business administration, or closely related field. (Transcripts MUST be attached if you do not possess a completed/awarded Associate degree (or higher) in related field.) IMPORTANT NOTES: All work experience must be clearly detailed and demonstrated on the application AND supplemental questionnaire to ensure qualifications are properly considered (resumes are not reviewed)

Experience in SAP Analytics tools such as, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP BusinessObjects, SAP HANA Modeling, SAP BW/4HANA or SAP Data Intelligence. Experience in SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics and integration with SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, etc.). Business or functional analysis experience in the public sector

Strong expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) - Planning, Reporting, and Predictive Analytics. Proficient in SAP BW/4HANA modeling, data extraction, and performance tuning. Hands-on experience in HANA Calculation Views, CDS Views, and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDPs).

Knowledge of SAP Fiori and Smart Business Applications for real-time reporting. A thorough understanding of SAP application configuration, report development, and analytics. The ability to document business process requirements and serve as a liaison between departments and the technical team.

Good Analytical Reporting Skills and Advance Data Modelling Skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience in teaching technical topics to non-technical staff and training end-users.

Proven ability to analyze issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions. Excellent customer service skills.
