Job description

Job Title-SAP SD Functional with RAR experience

Job Location: Santa Clara, CA 

Duration: 6 to 12 months contract

50% Remote with 50% International travel


Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Functional Consultant with strong RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting) experience to support implementation, enhancement, and support initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep functional expertise in SAP SD processes and hands-on exposure to SAP RAR.
 
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support SAP SD functional design, configuration, and implementation
Work closely with finance teams on SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting & Reporting) requirements
Configure and support RAR integration with SAP SD and FI
Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
Support end-to-end revenue recognition scenarios (IFRS 15 / ASC 606)
Participate in system integration testing (SIT), UAT, and cutover activities
Provide production support and issue resolution
Collaborate with ABAP, FI, and cross-functional teams
Prepare functional documentation, test cases, and training materials
 
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience in SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
Proven experience with SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting)
Ability to work independently and interact with business stakeholders
Strong analytical and communication skills
 
Preferred / Nice to Have
Experience with SAP FI integration
Exposure to complex revenue recognition scenarios
Prior experience in large enterprise or global implementations
SAP certification in SD or S/4HANA Finance (RAR) is a plus
