Detailed Job Description

  • Expertise in SAP implementations (preferred Oracle to SAP Migration), rollouts, and upgrades working with multiple vendors, successfully contributing to various delivery roles for clients across multiple geographies
  • Must have led for global Oracle to SAP Migration/Transformation programs
  • Must have done client facing role ensuring end to end governance, cross partner orchestration, and value delivery.
  • Strong breadth across S/4HANA (FI/CO, SD/MM, EWM, Manufacturing) and integrations via SAP CPI/BTP.
  • Establish and run tiered governance: Daily standups, weekly Workstream PMOs, Design Authority (DA), Change Control Board (CCB), and SteerCo.
  • Define & enforce RACI and decision matrices (e.g., DA = Design Partner lead with Client sign off; Build owner = Implementation Partner; cross impacts approved via DA/CCB).
  • Maintain integrated master plan (IMP) consolidating vendor plans; manage dependencies, critical path, and interlocks (Design→Build→Test→Cutover).
  • Ensure traceability from requirements → signed design artefacts → build/config → test evidence → go live criteria.
  • Drive commercial governance: track SoW deliverables, acceptance criteria, service credits (if applicable), and change requests.
  • Oversee Fit to Standard workshops, gap analysis, and design freeze; minimize customizations.
  • Chair or co-chair Design Authority with the Design Partner; manage design deviations and exceptions.
  • Ensure cross domain consistency: Finance (FI/CO, RAR), Logistics (SD/MM/PP DS/EWM), SCM
  • Ensure Implementation Partner delivers build/config/custom code per signed design, coding standards, and quality gates.
  • Stand up test governance: strategy, entry/exit gates for SIT/UAT/Performance/Security; defect triage (severity SLAs) and aging controls.
  • Enforce quality checkpoints: design reviews, code reviews, readiness assessments, audit trails.
  • Lead data strategy: profiling, cleansing, harmonization, MDG setup, mock cycles, reconciliation rules, and sign off criteria.
  • Own cutover governance: integrated runbook, downtime windows, back out plan, command center, rehearsal metrics, and go/no go checklists.
  • Confirm functional parity vs. value-driven redesign; manage stranded processes and decommissioning.
  • Coordinate reporting/analytics migration; ensure regulatory/compliance needs (SOX/ITGC).
  • deliver stakeholder mapping, communications, role & org design, training, and adoption KPIs.
  • Maintain RAID with quantified impacts; drive mitigations and timely decisions via DA/CCB/SteerCo.
  • Handle escalations objectively across vendors; focus on root-cause & sustainable fixes.
  • Publish executive dashboards (schedule, scope, quality, risk, value) and SteerCo packs.
  • Deep experience in data migration, test governance, and cutover for complex, global programs.
  • Excellent executive communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and decision facilitation.
  • SAP Activate required; PMP/Prince2/SAFe preferred. Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering/Technology/Business.
  • Executive presence, clear storytelling, and decision facilitation.
  • Conflict management across vendors; fact based, outcome driven.
