Job Summary
Syntax is seeking an experienced SAP PP Consultant to support client projects across complex SAP environments. In this role, you will analyze business requirements, design effective SAP solutions, support testing and implementation activities, and work closely with business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery. You will also contribute to training, support, and ongoing process improvement efforts that help clients operate more efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements through client workshops and information-gathering sessions.
  • Document business needs clearly and map them to appropriate SAP PP business processes.
  • Recommend suitable SAP business processes and solution approaches that align with client requirements.
  • Develop process models to assess completeness of information and process components.
  • Design and support test planning and execution, including unit, integration, system, regression, and dry run testing.
  • Create test objectives, test cases, test data, and test scripts to support solution validation.
  • Coordinate project tasks within the functional area and manage deliverables against tight deadlines.
  • Provide production and application support, including break/fix analysis, how-to guidance, minor enhancements, monitoring, and testing.
  • Deliver basic SAP training to client end users as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with business decision-makers, end users, and project teams to support successful outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders through strong oral, written, and interpersonal skills.

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of hands-on SAP PP experience.
  • Minimum of 2 full life cycle SAP implementations.
  • Strong experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into SAP solutions.
  • Working knowledge of testing methodologies and test execution across multiple testing phases.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in the United States and Canada; sponsorship is not provided.

Preferred Qualifications
  • SAP Quality Management experience is an asset.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori.
  • Experience providing end-user support and training in SAP environments.
  • Familiarity with process modeling and continuous improvement practices.
  • An appreciation for innovation, continuous improvement, and modern delivery approaches, including automation and AI-enabled services.

Education & Certifications
  • SAP Certification required.
  • University degree preferred.
