Work you'll do

As a Profitability Costing Allocations Senior Consultant, on the Business Finance team, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing client costing and profitability processes to identify business challenges and develop solutions aligned to finance transformation objectives
  • Analyzing and visualizing structured and unstructured data to deliver actionable insights for planning, forecasting, and performance management
  • Leverage AI enabled tools (e.g., Claude) to drive delivery transformation
  • Modeling and optimizing financial performance using SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PaPM), Oracle Profitability Cost Management (PCM) and advanced costing methodologies
  • Developing business requirements, prototypes, and solution designs leveraging automation and artificial intelligence-enabled technologies
  • Managing client engagement activities, workstream deliverables, and collaboration across finance, business, and technology stakeholders

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of experience in finance transformation, profitability reporting, costing, and allocations
  • 3+ years of experience building cost or profitability models using specialized costing or profitability solutions
  • 3+ years of experience working with SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, or both
  • 2+ years of experience extracting and transforming data and producing descriptive analytics
  • Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics
  • Experience with data transformation, reporting architecture, or finance data management
  • Experience supporting finance operating model, shared services, or global business services transformation initiatives
  • Experience with structured testing, user acceptance testing, or deployment support for finance technology implementations
  • Professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
