Job description

Material Handler - Night Shift (12-hour rotating shift with $2.00/hr shift differential)
Shift: C Shift, 6:45pm - 7:00am (Sun, Mon, Tues + every other Sat)
  • Cleans and maintains all material system filters daily
  • Cleans hoppers, grinders, blenders, regrind bins, colorant bins and material hoses for all material/color changes
  • Responsible for the hook-up and set-up of auxiliary equipment
  • Performs minor preventative maintenance on some auxiliary equipment
  • Performs color changes on molding machines
  • Fill all surge, colorant bins and hoppers.
  • Pull, weigh and return materials
  • Monitor inventory of colorant, cartons, bags, pallets, tape and other supplies and supply production floor with additional supplies as needed
  • Move production to the Warehouse
  • Make cartons and distribute to presses as well as maintain proper number of empty cartons at each press
  • Empty trash and weigh scrap daily
  • Analyze and resolve material related problems
  • Grind rejected production on and off the production floor
  • Complete/verify necessary SAP and Mobisys transactions for all raw and finished materials
