Job description

Job Title: SAP Group Reporting Consultant
Location: Remote 
Job Type: W2

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP Group Reporting in S/4HANA.
  • Configure consolidation units, ownership structures, intercompany eliminations, and multi-currency translation.
  • Integrate Group Reporting with Universal Journal (ACDOCA) and SAP FI/CO modules.
  • Perform month-end and year-end close activities using Data Monitor and Consolidation Monitor.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements for group consolidation, legal, and management reporting.
  • Design and deploy group-level financial statements and reports using SAP Analytics Cloud or BW.
  • Manage Group Reporting master data such as Financial Statement Items, Consolidation Units, and Consolidation Groups.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure system alignment with business needs.
  • Conduct user training, testing (SIT/UAT), and provide post-go-live support.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in SAP Finance, with 2+ years specifically in SAP Group Reporting (S/4HANA).
  • Strong knowledge of consolidation processes, IFRS/GAAP, and intercompany elimination.
  • Experience with Group Reporting Data Collection (GRDC).
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Universal Journal, Group Currency Logic, and Flexible Hierarchies.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a remote/distributed team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Group Reporting or S/4HANA Financials certification.
  • Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or SAP BPC.
  • Prior exposure to Central Finance or FPSL modules is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or IT.
