What You Will Be Doing

We’re seeking a highly organized and results‑driven Lead ERP Program Manager to lead critical business transformation initiatives as part of Acushnet’s global SAP S/4HANA transformation program. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful planning, governance, execution, and delivery of complex ERP programs, application development initiatives, and enterprise‑wide business transformation efforts that support strategic organizational objectives. You will partner closely with business leaders, SAP functional and technical teams, project stakeholders, and external implementation partners to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business priorities. Serving as a key leader within the program organization, you will establish governance structures, manage project plans and dependencies, oversee resource allocation, and proactively identify and mitigate risks to drive successful outcomes across multiple workstreams. You will lead the execution of global SAP S/4HANA initiatives, including greenfield implementations, major system enhancements, application development efforts, and process modernization programs. Throughout the project lifecycle, you will oversee all phases from discovery and design through implementation, hypercare, and sustainment while ensuring adherence to SAP Activate methodology, Agile practices, and established program management standards. The role will require strong leadership and collaboration skills as you guide cross‑functional teams, foster accountability, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. You will develop and maintain effective communication strategies, provide executive‑level reporting, facilitate governance and decision‑making forums, and ensure stakeholders remain informed and engaged throughout program execution. In addition, you will play a critical role in driving organizational change and business value realization by establishing success metrics, monitoring program performance, and providing actionable insights to leadership. Your ability to influence stakeholders, facilitate alignment, remove obstacles, and support user adoption will be instrumental in ensuring successful business transformation and long‑term program success.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field. Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar project management certification is highly preferred. SAP training and/or certification in one or more business process areas such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Finance, Supply Chain, or related disciplines is preferred. SAP certifications in SAP Activate Methodology, SAP Solution Manager, or related SAP technologies are highly desirable. Minimum of 8 years of program management, project management, or related leadership experience delivering complex enterprise technology initiatives. At least 5 years of experience working with SAP ERP solutions across multiple versions and business process domains. Experience leading SAP programs and projects, including one or more full lifecycle SAP implementations. Strong experience supporting global SAP rollouts utilizing a global template deployment methodology. Comprehensive knowledge of SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, implementation strategies, and enterprise system modernization initiatives. Extensive experience applying SAP Activate methodology and Agile delivery principles within large-scale ERP programs. Experience utilizing SAP Solution Manager for implementation documentation, business process management, best practices, and project governance activities. Proven ability to lead multiple cross‑functional teams, workstreams, vendors, and technology partners within complex program environments. Strong understanding of program governance, project planning, dependency management, budget oversight, resource planning, risk management, and issue resolution. Demonstrated success leading business transformation initiatives and driving organizational change management efforts. Experience developing executive‑level reporting, performance metrics, business value realization measures, and program performance dashboards. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to operate effectively in complex and rapidly changing business environments. Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Experience facilitating workshops, steering committee meetings, governance forums, and strategic decision‑making sessions. Strong leadership skills with the ability to build high‑performing teams, foster accountability, and drive collaboration across business and technology organizations. Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, negotiate priorities, build consensus, and manage competing interests across complex programs. Self‑motivated and adaptable with the ability to quickly absorb new concepts, technologies, and business processes. Ability to clearly articulate the benefits of proposed solutions and recommend approaches that align with strategic business objectives. Strong listening, relationship‑building, and organizational skills with a focus on achieving measurable business outcomes.
