Job description

Job Title: SAP ABAP HR Developer

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support ABAP programs for SAP HCM / HR modules

  • Develop reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF)

  • Work on HR-specific objects including:

    • Infotypes

    • Payroll schemas and PCRs (supporting role)

    • Time Management enhancements

  • Develop ALV reports, BDCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and IDocs

  • Implement user exits, BAdIs, and enhancements related to HR

  • Support HR processes such as Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Payroll, and Time Management

  • Collaborate with functional consultants to gather and understand business requirements

  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning

  • Provide production support and resolve HR-related SAP issues

  • Prepare technical documentation and follow SAP best practices


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer

  • Strong hands-on experience with SAP ABAP HR / HCM

  • In-depth knowledge of:

    • HR Infotypes and data structures

    • Logical databases (PNP/PNPCE)

  • Experience with Classical & Interactive ALV

  • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills

  • Experience working in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA

  • Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills


Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
