Job description

Work You'll Do As a US Delivery Center Senior Solution Specialist on the team, you will: * Deliver defined SAP Funds Management / Grants Management (FM/GM) workstream activities across design, configuration, testing, cutover, and go-live readiness.
* Facilitate fit-to-standard and fit-gap workshops for budgeting, funds control, and grant lifecycle processes; document decisions, requirements, and business impacts.
* Translate business requirements into functional designs, process flows, and configuration specifications aligned to reporting and control needs.
* Configure FM functionality, including budget structures, availability control (AVC), tolerances, derivations, and rules that support budget consumption and reporting.
* Configure GM functionality, including grant master design, lifecycle statuses, sponsored classes or related cost objects, and integration behaviors that support eligible cost capture and reporting dimensions.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams across MM, FI, CO, SD, and reporting to validate requirements, resolve issues, and support end-to-end process integrity.
* Support testing activities for FM/GM scope, including scenario development, defect tracking, tester coordination, and requirements traceability through sign-off.
* Contribute to period-end and year-end readiness, controls validation, cutover planning, training materials, and post-go-live stabilization.
* Develop project deliverables and reusable artifacts such as functional specs, cutover runbooks, and process documentation while collaborating effectively with client stakeholders and project team members. * 4+ years experience supporting SAP FM and/or GM functional design, configuration, and testing activities
* 4+ years experience working across integrated SAP processes, including collaboration with MM, FI, CO, SD, and reporting teams
* 4+ years experience supporting SIT/UAT, defect management, business testing coordination, and traceability from requirements through sign-off
* 2+ years experience public sector, higher education, or other grant- and fund-driven business processes, including budgeting, funds control, and grant lifecycle management * Delivery Center Location & Travel Requirements: * Hybrid Work Model: Operate under a hybrid system requiring residence within a commutable distance to one of the US Delivery Center locations (Gilbert, Lake Mary, or Mechanicsburg) * Co-location Expectation: Spend up to 30% of working time co-located at an assigned office for orchestrated opportunities, including projects, practice sessions, training, and Moments That Matter at a Deloitte Delivery Center location, Geo-Hub location, approved site, or project location * Travel Requirement: Maximum of 10% overnight travel for client or project purposes * Relocation Requirement: If relocation is necessary, complete the move within 12 weeks from the start date to reside within a commutable distance
