Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP)

Experience Required:

Engineer 3 Exp: Prac. In 2 coding lang. or adv. Prac. in 1 lang. 6+ years in IT; 4+ years in development

Experience Preferred:

  • Core ABAP: Strong proficiency in Object-Oriented ABAP (OOPS), SQLScript, and performance tuning.
  • Modern Frameworks: Hands-on experience with RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) or BOPF.
  • Data Modeling: Expert knowledge of CDS Views, Annotations, and Virtual Data Models (VDM).
  • Web Services: Experience in developing and debugging OData services and REST APIs.
  • UI/UX Exposure: Familiarity with SAP Fiori / UI5 (understanding how the backend links to Fiori elements).
  • BTP Knowledge: Understanding of SAP BTP environment, including Subaccounts, Destinations, and Connectivity Service.
