SAP FICO Lead/Specialist - Contract to Hire - Santa Clara, CA (Onsite)
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) Specialist to join our team in Santa Clara, CA. This role bridges Finance, Accounting, Controlling and IT, delivering robust SAP solutions in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in FI/CO modules and thrives in collaborative, global settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions, collaborating with developers on design, testing, and implementation.
- Lead configuration in GL, AP, AR, Banking, Fixed Assets, Taxation, and Special Purpose Ledger modules.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Finance, Accounting, Rights Management, Sales Operations) to deliver tailored solutions and enhancements.
- Resolve issues, optimize processes, and support finance projects, SAP upgrades, and integrations with systems like SAP IPM, BW, and BPC.
- Support quarter-end/year-end closes, ensure audit compliance, and maintain data integrity.
- Train end-users and act as a liaison between technical and business stakeholders.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 9+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience, with strong knowledge of GL, AP, AR, Banking, Fixed Assets, Taxation, and Special Purpose Ledger.
- Proven S/4HANA implementation/support experience (preferred); familiarity with Rights Management Systems.
- Expertise in FICO integrations with MM/SD and Fiori apps.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work independently in a collaborative, global team.
