SAP Solutions Architect
Salary Range: $120,000 - $130,000
OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:

This role is responsible for supporting, enhancing, and optimizing SAP S/4HANA business processes within a cGMP manufacturing environment, with primary focus on Production Planning (PP), Production Planning for Process Industries (PP-PI), and warehouse operations. The analyst will partner with manufacturing, supply chain, warehouse, quality, validation, and IT teams to ensure stable day-to-day operations, resolve system issues, improve business processes, and support ongoing enhancements in a regulated environment. This position requires hands-on functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA production and warehouse processes, understanding of cGMP expectations, and the ability to translate business requirements into compliant, effective system solutions.
  • Operational Support: Provide timely functional support for SAP S/4HANA PP, PP-PI, and warehouse-related issues to maintain continuity in cGMP manufacturing and distribution operations.
  • Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to improve planning, process manufacturing, inventory movements, and warehouse execution while maintaining compliance and data integrity.
  • Training and Adoption: Support end-user training, SOP alignment, documentation, and knowledge transfer to improve adoption and reinforce compliant system use.
  • Cross-Functional Integration: Collaborate across PP, PP-PI, warehouse, QM, MM, validation, and related functions to ensure processes work effectively end to end in a regulated environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Assist with enhancements, testing, change control, and validation-related activities to support continuous improvement within the SAP S/4HANA environment.
  • Primary Responsibilities for SAP PP/PI & Warehouse Analyst - cGMP Manufacturing
  • Support daily SAP S/4HANA PP, PP-PI, and warehouse operations for cGMP manufacturing, including issue resolution, process monitoring, and end-user assistance.
  • Work with manufacturing, warehouse, quality, and supply chain stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and recommend compliant system and process improvements.
  • Configure and support production planning, process manufacturing, batch-managed processes, material staging, inventory movement, and warehouse-related processes within SAP S/4HANA.
  • Participate in testing, documentation, training, change control, and validation activities associated with system updates and enhancements in regulated operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integrations and end-to-end business processes across manufacturing, warehouse, quality, and supply chain while maintaining compliance and data integrity.
Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA in Production Planning (PP) and Production Planning for Process Industries (PP-PI).
  • Fiori experience is a plus
  • Experience supporting cGMP manufacturing or other regulated process manufacturing environments.
  • Experience supporting warehouse or inventory-related processes in SAP, including material movements, stock handling, and warehouse execution activities.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing and process industry business processes and their integration with warehouse, quality, and supply chain operations.
  • Experience with SAP configuration, testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and user support in a production environment
  • Working knowledge of related SAP modules such as QM, MM, SD, and FI/CO is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while supporting compliant processes, change control, validation, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Education and Training Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant SAP experience supporting SAP S/4HANA or ECC manufacturing environments, with direct experience in PP and/or PP-PI.
  • Experience supporting cGMP manufacturing, regulated operations, or validated environments is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting warehouse, inventory, or supply chain execution processes in SAP is strongly preferred.
  • Experience participating in implementations, enhancements, validation activities, or continuous improvement initiatives within SAP environments is preferred.
