Compensation Analyst – Food Manufacturing Industry

Prime Meats is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Compensation Analyst to support our growing food manufacturing and distribution operations. In this role, you will partner with Human Resources, Finance, and business leaders to analyze, develop, and administer compensation programs that attract, retain, and motivate top talent across our manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and corporate functions.

We are looking for a proactive professional with strong analytical skills, experience in compensation and market benchmarking, and a solid understanding of manufacturing workforce dynamics. The ideal candidate can provide data-driven recommendations, ensure competitive and equitable pay practices, and support compensation initiatives with accuracy, efficiency, and sound business judgment.

The Compensation Analyst is responsible for analyzing, developing, and administering compensation programs that ensure competitive, equitable, and compliant pay practices across manufacturing, operations, supply chain, and corporate functions. This role supports salary benchmarking, job evaluations, pay structures, annual compensation reviews, and workforce analytics to attract and retain top talent within a food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis for manufacturing and corporate positions.
  • Evaluate jobs and maintain salary grades and compensation structures.
  • Support annual merit, bonus, and salary review processes.
  • Analyze pay equity and compensation trends.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, Plant Managers, and Talent Acquisition on compensation decisions.
  • Prepare compensation reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics.
  • Ensure compliance with wage and hour regulations and company policies.
  • Review compensation recommendations for promotions, transfers, and new hires.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of compensation, HR analytics, or total rewards experience.
  • Manufacturing or food industry experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP, or SuccessFactors.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience supporting multi-site or plant-based operations.
  • Knowledge of compensation regulations and pay equity practices.
