Job Summary:
INSPYR Solutions is a growing company in the building and interior design industry, seeking a skilled SAP Business Data Cloud Integration Specialist with strong BI development expertise. This role focuses on connecting SAP BDC with Azure Data Factory and will lead the migration to native SAP Datasphere pipelines, consolidating the analytics stack within the SAP BDC ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
• Configure SAP BDC and Datasphere as the primary data source, setting up connections, data flows, and outbound endpoints consumed by existing ADF pipelines
• Design and implement data integration solutions within SAP Business Data Cloud including data ingestion, transformation, replication, orchestration, and monitoring
• Expose SAP data via OData services, REST APIs, or Open Connectors from within SAP BDC and Datasphere for ADF and downstream consumption
• Define and publish SAP CDS Views from S/4HANA into Datasphere as the primary extraction layer
• Set up remote tables, replication flows, and data persistence layers within Datasphere
• Ensure delta and CDC enablement on the SAP side to support incremental pipeline patterns
• Manage authentication and secure connectivity between SAP BDC and Azure including OAuth, service principals, and SAP Integration Suite
• Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and governance standards across all integration solutions
• Maintain existing ADF pipelines, monitor performance, troubleshoot failures, and ensure SLA adherence during the transition period
• Plan and execute the migration of ADF pipelines into native SAP Datasphere data flows and transformation layers
• Build and optimize Datasphere analytical datasets and semantic models to serve as the direct source for Power BI
• Configure and maintain SAP Datasphere to Power BI connectivity including live connection, DirectQuery, and dataset publish patterns
• Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards consuming Datasphere models across finance, operations, and executive reporting
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, stories, and analytical applications using SAP Analytics Cloud
• Partner with business stakeholders to translate reporting and analytical requirements into technical solutions
• Design and maintain logical and physical data models supporting reporting, planning, forecasting, and analytics
• Develop and optimize ETL and ELT processes and data transformation logic within SAP Datasphere and HANA Cloud
• Monitor integration processes, data pipelines, and reporting environments to ensure system reliability
• Troubleshoot and resolve data integration, reporting, and analytics issues in a timely manner
• Maintain technical documentation including integration architecture, data lineage, data flows, and reporting specifications
• Provide end-user support, training, and knowledge transfer to promote adoption
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
• 7+ years of SAP data and analytics experience with deep hands-on expertise in SAP BDC and/or SAP Datasphere
• Strong experience configuring SAP Datasphere as a data source and building native data flows, transformation views, and analytical datasets
• Proven ability to expose SAP data via OData services, REST APIs, or Open Connectors from within SAP BDC and Datasphere
• Hands-on experience defining and publishing SAP CDS Views from S/4HANA into Datasphere as the extraction layer
• Experience setting up remote tables, replication flows, and data persistence layers within Datasphere
• Strong understanding of delta and CDC enablement on the SAP side for incremental pipeline patterns
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory including maintaining pipelines, troubleshooting failures, and ensuring SLA adherence
• Experience connecting SAP Datasphere to Power BI including live connection, DirectQuery, and semantic model publishing
• Solid understanding of SAP data models across FI, CO, SD, MM, and PS modules
• Strong SQL and data transformation skills within SAP Datasphere and HANA Cloud
• Experience managing secure connectivity between SAP BDC and Azure including OAuth, service principals, and SAP Integration Suite
Preferred:
• Experience with SAP Business Data Cloud implementation, administration, or support
• Experience planning or executing data pipeline migrations from ADF or similar tools into a native SAP layer
• Experience with SAP HANA Cloud and CDS-based analytical data modeling
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud as an alternative or complementary reporting layer to Power BI
• Familiarity with SAP BW/4HANA Open Hub as an alternative or legacy extraction mechanism
