Overview

Location: Libertyville, IL

Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000 (Depending on skills and experience) 

Position Summary: The Business Intelligence Analyst (BIA) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the availability, accuracy, and reliability of enterprise reporting and data integration solutions.  This position is responsible for developing and supporting the SAP Business Objects (BO) reporting environment as well as monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving SAP Data Services job issues.  The BIA's role is to deliver timely reporting, maintain data quality, and support business operations.  Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, a proactive support mindset, and effective communication to technical and non-technical teams.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain reports using SAP Business Objects tools including Web Intelligence and Universe Design Tool
  • Develop and maintain BO Universes based on business requirements and data models
  • Partner with business users to gather requirements and translate them into effective reporting solutions
  • Work with business users to test and troubleshoot reports, update schedules, and provide report access
  • Monitor, schedule, and troubleshoot SAP Data Services jobs to ensure timely and accurate data loads
  • Validate data accuracy across Data Services, data warehouse, and BO reporting
  • Document reporting solutions, data definitions, and Data Services workflows
  • Provide end user support and training as needed 
Qualifications
  •  Hands-on experience with SAP Data Services, including job monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Two or more years experience with SAP Business Objects WebI Reporting, and Universe design
  • Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent experience
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g. SQL Server, Oracle, SAP HANA)
  • Knowledge in ETL processes, Data Warehouse modeling, and reporting best practices
  • Prior experience in production support environment and issue resolution
