Job description

Salary:

About Us:

SyberJet is an aerospace company headquartered in Chandler, Arizona, designing and manufacturing the next
generation of high-performance business jets. Our team blends decades of aviation engineering expertise with a
startup mindset. We move fast, challenge convention, and build extraordinary aircraft. As we scale our
manufacturing and global support operations, the systems behind our business have to keep pace. That's whereyou come in.

Job Description:

We are hiring a Senior SAP S/4HANA Specialist to serve as the technical and functional cornerstone of our ERP
environment. This is not a maintenance role. Reporting directly to the CEO of the company, you will own the architecture, design integrity, and continuous improvement of our ERP system. Partnering directly with finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and engineeringleaders to translate complex aerospace business processes into elegant, scalable SAP solutions. Your job will bedifferent than normal, your job will be to help design and engineer a better architecture and flow for our ERPthan we currently have, so you must have a desire to think creatively and outside the box.

If you've ever looked at a clunky SAP workflow and thought, 'there's a better way to do this," we want to hear
from you. We need someone who challenges the default configuration, questions inherited processes, and is
energized by the opportunity to redesign how an ERP system supports a high-precision manufacturing business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture & Design: Architect, configure, and optimize the SAP S/4HANA landscape across core
modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and/or QM) to support manufacturing, finance, and supply chain
    operations.
  • Solution Delivery: Lead end-to-end solution design for new modules, integrations, and enhancements, from gathering requirements to go-live and post-implementation support.
  • Process Innovation: Identify inefficiencies in existing ERP workflows and redesign them for better data flow, automation, and user experience. We expect you to challenge "the way it has always been done."
  • Integration: Build seamless connections between S/4HANA and adjacent systems (MES, PLM, CRM, EDI partners, custom-built tools), ensuring clean master data and real-time visibility across the enterprise.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams in finance, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering. Translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and business needs into precise functional specifications for technical teams.
  • Hands-On Execution: Provide hands-on configuration, troubleshoot complex issues, lead unit/integration testing, and mentor junior team members and key business users.
  • Governance: Champion data integrity, system security, change management discipline, and SAP best practices throughout the SDLC.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay ahead of SAP roadmap developments (RISE with SAP, BTP, Joule, Fiori UX, embedded analytics) and recommend strategic adoption opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on SAP experience, with substantial time spent on SAP S/4HANA (not just ECC).
  • Deep functional and configuration expertise in at least two core S/4HANA modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, or PM).
  • Proven track record leading at least one full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or major rollout.
  • Strong understanding of SAP integration technologies IDocs, BAPIs, RFC, OData, SAP CPI/PI/PO, or BTP integration suite.
  • Working knowledge of ABAP (read, debug, and write functional specs); Fiori/UI5 familiarity strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into clean, scalable SAP solutions and to push back constructively when a proposed solution isnt the right one.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to executives and training end-users.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with ITAR/EAR-controlled environments and related SAP authorization concepts.
  • SAP certifications in S/4HANA functional or technical areas.
  • Exposure to SAP BTP, CPI, Datasphere, Analytics Cloud, or Signavio.
  • Experience integrating SAP with MES, PLM (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill), or CAD-driven BOM systems.
  • Background working alongside engineering and operations teams in a regulated, high-precision industry.
  • Familiarity with ITAR/EAR-controlled environments and related SAP authorization concepts.
  • SAP certifications in S/4HANA functional or technical areas.
  • Exposure to SAP BTP, CPI, Datasphere, Analytics Cloud, or Signavio.
  • Experience integrating SAP with MES, PLM (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill), or CAD-driven BOM systems.

Who You Are

Beyond the technical rsum, were looking for a specific kind of teammate:

  • A collaborator first. You build trust quickly across departments and treat finance, operations, and engineering colleagues as true partners not ticket-submitters.
  • A creative problem-solver. You see ERP not as a rigid system to maintain, but as a living platform that should evolve with the business. You bring fresh ideas to the table and arent afraid to prototype them.
  • Pragmatic and outcome focused. You know when a custom development is the right answer and when a standard SAP best-practice fits better. You optimize for the business, not for the elegance of the code.
  • Calm under pressure. Manufacturing environments dont pause for system issues. You triage thoughtfully and communicate clearly.
  • A teacher. You document well, mentor generously, and elevate the people around you.
