Job description

Job Title: SAP WM Support (Functional Analyst)
Location: Detroit, MI
Contract
Mandatory Skills: SAP WM and eWM expertise within future S4 version, with cross-functional knowledge for order to cash processes
 
Job Summary
  • SAP Functional Analyst for medium-scale, moderately complex customized SAP application used in logistics functions that span order-to-cash business process (PTSI).
  • Primary business partners supported is the Warehouse Management team, leveraging the SAP Warehouse Management (WM) module currently, with aims to implement SAP Extended Warehouse Management (eWM) in the next 2 years. 
  • You join a Warehouse Management functional team (several like SAP experts) to work on incident management tickets, and change requests for small and medium modifications in support of PTSI.
 
Individual expectations of this position include:
•             Communicates with parties within and outside of own department which may include consultants, vendors, and central corporate teammates
•             SAP WM and eWM expertise within future S4 version, with cross-functional knowledge for order to cash processes
•             Contributor to continuous improvement, documentation, standardization processes as it relates to business applications, as well as departmental practices.
•             Works under minimal supervision.
 
Main Requirement :
•             Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university required
•             5+ years related experience required
•             Experience with a minimum of 2 full life cycle SAP implementation projects required
•             Strong understanding of external systems interfacing to/from SAP required
•             Excellent communication skills required
•             Demonstrated efficacy in fast-paced environment with competing demands required
•             Ability to recognize and prioritize critical issues that pose significant impact to operations and/or system required
