Job description

Sanitary Welder
Location: Dayton, NJ
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30AM - 3:50PM
Pay Rate: $36 - $42 per hour DOE
Leading flavor manufacturer located in Dayton, NJ is in need of a Sanitary Welder/Industrial Mechanic to join the team!
The ideal candidate will have experience working in sanitary processing environments such as food, beverage, dairy, or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Duties:
  • Perform high-quality welding on piping and components to meet sanitary standards
  • Fabricate and install custom sanitary process piping, tanks, and structural components based on blueprints and isometric drawings
  • Ensure welds are free from contamination, pinholes, and defects, using borescopes and dye-penetrant testing when needed.
  • Fit, tack, and assemble piping systems including elbows, tees, valves, and flanges
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, valves, conveyors, and mixers
  • Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical systems
  • Follow all safety procedures
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in welding and maintenance in industrial/manufacturing setting
  • Must be certified
  • Sanitary welding experience
