The Unit Manager - RN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the physical, emotional, and psychosocial well-being of all residents in the unit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision:

    • Supervise and manage the nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), ensuring they provide high-quality care.
    • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and offer coaching and professional development opportunities for staff.
    • Create staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for each shift while managing time-off requests and overtime.
    • Address staffing issues, such as call-offs, and provide timely solutions to ensure proper coverage and care delivery.
  • Patient Care and Management:

    • Oversee the care of residents, ensuring that each patient receives individualized, comprehensive care in accordance with their care plan.
