Job description

 Salary Range: $22.62 - $31.67 

Position Summary:

The Textile Coordinator plays a critical supporting role within the Raw Materials Development (RMD) team by managing textile processes, documentation, and sample flow across multiple brands including SitOnIt Seating, Albany Park, and Timbuk2. This role ensures that textiles are processed, tracked, and documented with accuracy, supporting engineering, product development, and customer satisfaction.

This position is onsite 5x/week in Buena Park.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
  • Receive, log, and process textile test samples for lab evaluation, ensuring proper labeling, organization, and traceability.

  • Manage Customer's Own Material (COM) requests, verifying, tracking, and updating textile information.

  • Prepare and manage textile export documentation; create and maintain fabric part numbers in internal systems.

  • Support verification activities in the Integrify process, ensuring accuracy and compliance; update test results in the Textile Manager system.

  • Assist in drafting and maintaining textile-related work instructions; uphold 5S standards in textile areas.

  • Partner with Customer Experience to support shipping of textile samples and swatches, ensuring correct dimensions, packaging, and delivery documentation.

  • Manage the creation of new textile cards and collections from partner mills; maintain up-to-date sample libraries and textile reference archives.

Qualifications, Skills and Education:

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of administrative, textile, or materials-related experience (manufacturing, product development, or customer service a plus).

  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and timeliness.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort with database/PLM systems.

  • Ability to handle fabric rolls, swatches, and textile samples.

  • Strong communication skills for coordination with internal teams and external partners.
