What is a sample?

In a professional context, 'samples' usually refer to small portions or examples of products, materials, or work provided for evaluation, testing, or demonstration purposes. They are commonly used in industries like manufacturing, retail, science, and marketing to showcase quality, test feasibility, or attract potential buyers before a full commitment is made. Samples help clients and stakeholders make informed decisions by giving them firsthand experience with a product or service. The role of someone working with samples can vary, including preparing, distributing, or analyzing these examples.
