Merchandising/Sample Coordinator/Retail Assistant

What You’ll Do:

  • Own the creation, maintenance, and accuracy of product data within the Lifecycle Management system, ensuring product records, attributes, SKUs, and key milestones are completed accurately and on time
  • Partner cross-functionally with Merchandising, Product Development, Planning, Sourcing, and Marketing teams to gather information, manage product updates, resolve data discrepancies, and maintain accurate downstream information
  • Manage product samples, including receiving, unboxing, organizing, gathering, setting up, and ranking samples for leadership offices, storage areas, conference rooms, and workspaces
  • Receive and organize samples and third-party packages from the distribution center and mailroom
  • Assist with meeting preparation by coordinating sample availability, style rankings, presentation decks, and ad hoc requests
  • Research competitive retailers to understand assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies
  • Support seasonal assortment plans during pre-season development and throughout the season, including Centric management, design and feasibility requests, vendor documents, APS, roadmap updates, and assortment grid updates
  • Assist with internal SKU item costing, packout, article setup, and maintenance
  • Execute visual and floorset updates in partnership with Visual Merchandising, Space, and Allocation teams, including load documents, paper doll lists, and MPQ grids


What We’re Looking For:

  • 1–3 years of related experience in brand development, merchandise buying, retail management, or a related field; store or retail internship experience is acceptable
  • Experience with sample management and tactical merchandising work is a plus
  • Experience with skew management and Centric systems is preferred, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
  • Passion for product and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to take direction while working independently and taking ownership of assigned work
  • Comfortable asking questions and proactively seeking clarification when needed
  • Curious, adaptable, and comfortable working in an environment with changing priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to accommodate required work hours and schedule
