Job description

Good Samaritan Hospice, an entity of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, is seeking a Clinical Supervisor, RN for a full time position which is based at our Administrative office in Valencia, PA. 

Our Hospice Clinical Supervisors are the heart of our organization and are responsible for overseeing day to day patient care by assisting patients, caregivers/families, Interdisciplinary Group (IDG) members and health care providers involved in our patient care.

The Clinical Supervisor RN will work Monday through Friday a week with a holiday and weekend rotation (every fourth weekend.)

QUALIFICATIONS for Clinical Supervisor, RN:

  • Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Two (2) years hospice experience preferred
  • Possesses strong assessment, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Solid computer skills, including Word, Excel and electronic medical record (EMR) programs
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Must be able to identify and anticipate patient and family needs

RESPONSIBILITIES for Clinical Supervisor Registered Nurse:

  • Assist with patient care plans and assessments
  • Identify and resolve clinical issues
  • Provide clinical supervision, direction and guidance to our staff
  • Monitor data management systems
