To serve the members of Samaritan Ministries International (SMI) by overseeing the organization's marketing and advertising efforts to drive ministry growth and brand preference.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop strategies to support Samaritan Ministries' overall objectives and growth goals.
  • Monitor trends within the health care market and direct market research efforts for the organization, including the collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports, identifying challenges and opportunities for growth, and identifying the wants and needs of the people in the market we serve.
  • Maintain a high level of understanding of the market landscape, competitive insights, consumer trends across markets and use knowledge to advance membership development strategies.
  • Develop and implement Samaritan Ministries' brand standards, terms, message, and voice to ensure compliance across all marketing and communications channels.
  • Oversee the development and prioritization of Samaritan Ministries' public relations and reputation management strategy.
  • Participate in the trimester and annual planning of the ministry's goals and objectives.
  • Prepare regular reports, analysis, and presentations on health care market trends, market research, market data and forecasts for the Ministry Cabinet and Board of Directors.
  • Establish and monitor staff performance and development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, conduct trimester performance appraisals, and administer compensation adjustments.
  • Coach and develop departmental leaders and direct reports, establishing clear goals for professional growth and accountability, and assisting staff in the execution of their duties where necessary.
  • Lead the development and execution of the Marketing plan (branding, positioning, communications, public relations, advertising etc.) targeting key audiences to grow awareness, create interest, and drive action for Samaritan Ministries programs.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Four-year degree from an accredited university or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8+ years of progressively responsible marketing leadership, preferably as Marketing Manager or Director.
  • Exceptional knowledge of marketing strategies, concepts and practices.
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects across various teams within tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in leading and developing high performing teams.
  • Good English (Intermediate) and communication skills
  • Must be able to present complex information in an understandable manner
  • Good analytical skills (Intermediate)
  • Ability to think clearly, strategically and analytically
  • Maintains confidentiality (Intermediate)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Intermediate)

Additional Information
  • Tasks are normally conducted in a regular office environment, requiring use of computer and mouse and other standard office equipment. Staff usually remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
  • Staff will observe safety principles while performing the duties of the position.
  • Staff will be required to travel and have a valid driver's license.
  • May need to lift and move items up to 35 lbs on occasion.

Pay Range:$99,000-$154,400. Starting pay usually falls within the lower half of the pay range and is determined by experience, skills, and education.
