Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Night
Location: Tucson, AZ
Department: Department of Veterans' Services
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (6:00am-6:30pm)
Work Hours: Week 1 - 36 hrs | Week 2 - 48 hrs (Block schedule)
Must be available to work weekends
Pay: 44.00 hour / Paid Weekly

Position Summary:
Join the Department of Veterans' Services in Tucson as an LPN providing quality geriatric nursing care. You'll administer medications, perform treatments, monitor resident conditions, and lead CNAs and other staff in providing compassionate care to our residents.
Responsibilities:
  • Administer and document medications and treatments per physician orders
  • Provide wound, tracheostomy, catheter, and gastrostomy care
  • Observe, report, and record resident conditions and progress
  • Supervise and train CNAs and new staff
  • Participate in shift reports, care planning, and quality improvement activities
  • Assist residents with daily living activities (ADLs)
  • Respond to emergencies and follow all care protocols

Requirements:
  • Current LPN license (AZ or Compact State)
  • Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Current TB test
  • 7-year background check (OIG/SAM included)
