Hourly NonExempt Position
Company: United Salt Baytown, LLC
Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming as needed.
  • Gather and empty trash.
  • Clean and maintain restrooms.
  • Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors.
  • Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
  • Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare clearing solutions, according to specifications.
  • Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
  • Requisition supplies and equipment needed for clearing and maintenance duties.
  • Notify management of potential repairs.
  • Remove snow/debris from external sidewalks.
  • Other duties as determined by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED, one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret documents.

Physical Demands:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, handle, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Frequently required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Regularly lift and or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Regularly perform heavy cleaning such as floors, washing walls and glass, stripping and waxing floors, and removing snow and/or debris from external sidewalks.
