Job description

 Join Salt Fork Lodge as a Maintenance Technician on the Third Shift and enjoy a rewarding position with a beautiful view of Salt Fork State Park and Lake every day. This role offers the opportunity to work full-time or part-time with flexible scheduling. Ideal candidates will have mechanical skills and a mechanical mindset, though expert trade knowledge is not required. Some work may start as early as mid-May, with the potential for year-round employment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks for room and cabin service calls.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance such as changing furnace filters and replacing switches, bulbs, and other room components.
  • Carry out minor repairs and test equipment including HVAC and refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tile repair, painting, and appliances in a safe and timely manner.
  • Test and maintain pools and hot tubs.
  • Assist guests, management, and other departments daily with maintenance needs.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Possess a clean criminal background and valid driver’s license.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and third shift hours.
  • General mechanical knowledge with proficiency in hand or power tools.
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods and over long distances.
  • Able to lift and carry items weighing 20-60 lbs daily and repeatedly bend, reach, lift, push, crouch, kneel, stoop, and twist.
  • Willingness to float between 1st and 2nd shifts will be considered a plus but is not a requirement for the third shift position.
