Your future role on our team

As the office director, you'll report to Country Manager and will oversee daily operations while contributing to thefirm's objectives. While leading our new office in Salt Lake City, your mainresponsibility will be to cultivate long-term relationships with both existingand potential clients in the region. You'll oversee office operations toprovide clients with hands-on, cutting-edge expertise throughout the entireproject life cycle. You'll also work with BBA's offices in other countries toalign and support the integration of corporate directives.

 In line with our strategic plan, you'll use your networkof contacts and experience in the mining industry to develop the U.S. marketand drive new business across our other core areas of expertise.

An overview of your mandates andresponsibilities

  • Lead regional business development activities in the mining sector by seeking out new opportunities through networking or referrals
  • Develop a strong and healthy project opportunity pipeline in the region
  • Prepare annual budget estimates for the office, implement strategies in line with the firm's strategic plan and assess objectives based on KPIs
  • Recruit the most talented candidates, develop the technical expertise of teams and manage performance to maintain a high level of service
  • Provide project, technical or business development leadership ~30% of your working time
  • Rigorously carry out health and safety roles and responsibilities
  • Ensure collaboration objectives are achieved with other offices, teams and departments, both regionally and nationally
  • Promote an innovative culture and empower your employees to develop creative solutions that enhance the organization's business practices
