What are the responsibilities of a salon store manager?

A Salon Store Manager oversees the daily operations of a salon, ensuring that both staff and customers have a positive experience. Their responsibilities typically include managing employees, creating work schedules, handling customer service issues, ordering inventory, overseeing sales, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. They are also responsible for meeting sales targets, implementing marketing strategies, and ensuring that the salon complies with health and safety regulations. How does a salon store manager typically balance administrative duties with supporting the salon team on the floor?

A Salon Store Manager often divides their time between front-line engagement with staff and clients, and behind-the-scenes administrative tasks. This can involve overseeing inventory, scheduling, and budgeting, while also stepping in to resolve client concerns or assist during busy periods.
