Job Summary:
The Salon Coordinator is the first point of contact for clients and plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the salon. This role involves managing appointments, providing excellent customer service, supporting the salon team, and maintaining an organized and welcoming front desk.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Relations:
    • Greet all clients in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
    • Manage phone, online, and in-person appointment bookings.
    • Handle client check-ins and check-outs, including processing payments and scheduling follow-ups.
    • Respond to client inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
    • Manage daily appointment schedules and coordinate stylist availability.
    • Maintain accurate client records, including contact information and service history.
    • Ensure all front desk systems and procedures are followed consistently.
  • Support Salon Operations:
    • Assist with retail product sales and restocking displays.
    • Monitor inventory levels for retail and salon supplies; report low stock to management.
    • Help coordinate team schedules and communicate changes effectively.
    • Support salon events and promotions as needed.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Work closely with stylists, assistants, and management to ensure a seamless client experience.
    • Foster a positive and professional atmosphere within the salon.
    • Provide occasional support in training new front desk or support staff.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a receptionist, customer service, or salon-related role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient with salon software, point-of-sale systems, and Microsoft Office (or Google Workspace).
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Working Conditions:

Compensation: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
