Position Summary

We are searching for a Salesforce System Administrator to join our Global Sales and Customer Operations team. This role requires business acumen along with technical skills to develop and document sales processes that support corporate initiatives. In this role, your responsibilities will include gathering business requirements, designing and maintaining the business application, configuring, conducting systems testing, and supporting the end-user experience. You will be responsible for general ongoing system administration, on-going enhancement development, as well as building/implementing reports & dashboards that support a global implementation.  The position will be joining a team that is responsible for creating an end-user experience that creates value and is seen as a productive tool which is fully adopted. This position reports to the Sales Systems Manager.

What You’ll Be Doing

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working individually/collaboratively, staying on top of tasks, and making a meaningful impact across teams and projects. Below are some key responsibilities of the role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serving as a system administrator for the Salesforce.com environment
  • Significantly contributing to overall Salesforce design, roadmap, project management, and business requirements
  • Partners with the Global Sales Team to assist with data integrity efforts to maximize the organization’s ability to make appropriate business decisions
  • Being a go-to person for the Salesforce platform – assisting users in understanding platform, using tools efficiently, and conflict resolution
  • Reviewing Salesforce release notes for current platform impact and necessary implementation needs to stay supported by Salesforce
  • Act as a training resource for new hires across the global sales organizations and sales systems
  • Working with Banner management and end users to gather, understand, and define business requirements
  • Maintaining our Sale Systems Team Jira board to align work with business needs and timeline
  • Developing user stories and to-be process flows to support the design and development of Banner’s Salesforce solution and integrations with other Banner systems with Salesforce
  • Working collaboratively with team members to design a solution that will meet our business requirements and fulfill user stories
  • Contribute to integration projects as needed to support functionality collaborating with IT and Data quality groups
  • Completing the configuration to support user stories within Salesforce, Configure Price Quote (CPQ), Manufacturing Cloud, and embedding Business Intelligence (BI) reporting
  • Contribute to the creation of all necessary system and process documentation required for system maintenance and user training
  • Providing day-to-day support of Salesforce user requests
  • Providing and developing ad-hoc and ongoing reporting and dashboards
  • Managing general and security settings for new and current users
  • Collaborating with developers to test and verify that solutions will meet the business requirements
  • Staying up to date with new Salesforce features and functionality
  • Other duties as assigned

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related industry experience
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role supporting Salesforce.com or a competitive CRM platform
  • 1-3 years of experience in Salesforce
  • Current certification as a Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator
  • Able to obtain various Salesforce certifications
  • Experience defining and supporting system integrations
  • Expert skills in identifying and capturing business requirements
  • Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with end-users and colleagues domestically and internationally
  • Strong analytical skills with proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to work and drive tasks independently
  • Experience with technical project management and team coordination
  • Experience with the MS Office Suite; strong understanding of Excel preferred
  • Well-organized, efficient, proactive, self-motivated, and results driven with the ability to deliver quality and timely results

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing field
  • Experience with additional Salesforce packages and add-ons, including but not limited to Conga, Ironclad, Roll-up Helper, Salesforce Maps, Advanced Approvals, etc
  • Hands-on experience in Salesforce development, with knowledge in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning frameworks, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Familiarity with third-party data manipulation tools such as Inspector, Dataloader.io, and Workbench
  • Experience using business intelligence tools (Qlik Sense, QlikView)
  • Active user of Salesforce Trailheads
