Senior Salesforce & AWS DevOps Engineer
Location: Trenton, NJ (Hybrid 3 days onsite/week)
Duration: 6-Month Contract + Possible Extension

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Salesforce & AWS DevOps Engineer to manage, optimize, and secure release processes across Salesforce ecosystems and AWS cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Copado-driven Salesforce DevOps, AWS cloud services, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD automation.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize Copado-driven automated release workflows and CI/CD pipelines across Salesforce teams
  • Handle Salesforce metadata management, Git merge conflict resolution, and release coordination
  • Implement quality gates for security, test coverage, and deployment best practices
  • Establish change governance and communication processes for shared production infrastructure
  • Develop and enforce version control and branching strategies using Git and Copado
  • Architect, provision, and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform
  • Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS DevOps tools
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automated testing into deployment pipelines
  • Monitor system performance and proactively resolve operational bottlenecks
  • Maintain technical documentation for release processes, Terraform configurations, and cloud environments
  • Stay updated on DevOps best practices across Salesforce and AWS ecosystems
Required Skills
  • Strong expertise in Copado and automated Salesforce release management
  • Experience with Salesforce metadata management using SFDX, Git, and Copado
  • Hands-on experience with AWS DevOps tools, services, and cloud infrastructure
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline
  • Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar technologies
Required Experience
  • 10+ years of Enterprise DevOps experience across SaaS and cloud ecosystems
  • 5+ years of Salesforce DevOps and release management experience
  • 5+ years of Copado implementation and support experience
  • 7+ years of AWS DevOps, cloud architecture, and infrastructure management experience
  • 7+ years of Terraform-based Infrastructure as Code experience
  • 7+ years of CI/CD orchestration using Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline
  • 7+ years of scripting, automation, and Git version control experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, ECS, or EKS
  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience
  • Strong automation and operational workflow scripting expertise
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform essential job functions in a standard office environment
  • Primarily sedentary work involving computer usage and attending meetings
