We are looking for a Salesforce Administrator to join our Enterprise Applications team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Salesforce platform, ensuring it meets the ongoing needs of the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, supporting day-to-day Salesforce operations, user management, and enhancements. How Will I Make an Impact?ย 

Salesforce Solution Design & Development

  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable Salesforce solutions.
  • Design, develop, and implement Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations using industry best practices.
  • Build and maintain custom business logic using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura Components.
  • Configure Salesforce features including Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules, validation rules, security models, and role hierarchies.
  • Ensure Salesforce solutions are aligned with D2L's enterprise architecture, security standards, and overall technology strategy.
  • Integrate Salesforce with internal and external systems using APIs, middleware, and integration platforms.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Business Partnership

  • Partner with business users to understand operational challenges and recommend Salesforce solutions that improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Facilitate iterative feedback sessions with stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle to ensure alignment with business needs and expectations.
  • Collaborate with Service Managers, Product Owners, Architects, and other IT teams to ensure solution consistency and cross-platform alignment.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Continuous Improvement & Platform Optimization

  • Leverage data analytics, system metrics, and user feedback to identify opportunities for optimization and process improvement.

  • Recommend and implement enhancements that drive business value and improve user experience.
  • Evaluate and manage AppExchange applications to extend platform functionality where appropriate.

Project Delivery & Technical Leadership

  • Serve as a key technical contributor on IT projects involving Salesforce.
  • Participate in solution planning, estimation, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support activities.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including solution designs, process maps, test plans, use cases, and training materials.
  • Support project management activities such as planning, scheduling, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.
  • Mentor junior team members and promote development best practices within the Salesforce team.

Quality Assurance & Support
