The ideal candidate is a strong Salesforce Project Manager with enough technical depth to understand Salesforce architecture and ERP integration, while primarily focusing on project execution, stakeholder management, delivery governance, and cross-functional coordination. Experience managing complex Salesforce + ERP integration programs is highly preferred.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Project Manager (SFDC PM) to lead enterprise Salesforce initiatives involving Salesforce Cloud implementations, enhancements, integrations, data migration, and ERP connectivity. The ideal candidate will have strong project/program management experience combined with a solid understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, enterprise integrations, and ERP platforms.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, Salesforce architects, developers, integration teams, ERP teams, QA, and offshore/onshore delivery teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end Salesforce projects from planning and requirements through implementation, deployment, and production support.
  • Manage Salesforce Cloud initiatives across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or other Salesforce platforms.
  • Coordinate Salesforce integration projects with enterprise ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Work with technical teams to define and manage integration requirements involving REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL, event-based integrations, and batch interfaces.
  • Partner with Salesforce Solution Architects and Integration Architects to develop scalable integration and application architectures.
  • Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, issues, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, business process workshops, sprint planning, status meetings, and steering committee meetings.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable deliverables for Salesforce and integration teams.
  • Coordinate Salesforce configuration, customization, development, data migration, integration, testing, UAT, and deployment activities.
  • Manage Agile/Scrum delivery teams and ensure effective execution across multiple workstreams.
  • Track project milestones and provide regular status reporting to senior management and business stakeholders.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Coordinate with ERP teams to ensure successful synchronization of customer, account, product, order, invoice, pricing, and other master/transactional data between Salesforce and ERP systems.
  • Ensure appropriate data mapping, data quality, security, and reconciliation processes are established.
  • Manage release and deployment activities across Salesforce environments, including Dev, QA, UAT, and Production.
  • Ensure adherence to Salesforce governance, enterprise architecture, security, compliance, and change-management standards.
  • Coordinate vendors, system integrators, and third-party technology partners when required.
  • Drive defect resolution and production issue management in collaboration with technical teams.

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of IT project management experience, with significant experience managing Salesforce projects.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Salesforce/SFDC implementations or enterprise Salesforce programs.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce Cloud capabilities, particularly Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Experience managing Salesforce-to-ERP integration projects.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise integration concepts, including:
    • REST/SOAP APIs
    • Middleware
    • ETL/ELT
    • Batch and real-time integrations
    • Event-driven integrations
    • Data mapping and transformation
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP platforms.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, objects, security, workflows, APIs, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
  • Strong experience with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, or Salesforce Certified Application Architect.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
